Personal statement:
I am currently studying at the University of Bolton on a BSc (Hons) Motorsport Technology Degree. I have completed a City and Guilds level 1 in MIG welding and have a 100% pass grade and a City and Guilds level 1 in oxy-acetylene welding and have also achieved a 100% pass grade. I am a registered marshal with the MSA and I have helped out marshalling and timekeeping at events across the country and the Isle of Man. I have three days work expeience with Century Motorsport building a Ginetta G55. I have a clean, full UK driving licence and my own car.
Upon the completion of my university course I would like a job in the motorsport industry. My main interests are Formula 1, Formula Drift, Endurance racing and the world rally championship. I would ultimately like to be a Formula 1 race technician.
My other interests include Japanese cars and modifying cars. I also enjoy drumming, in which I have passed my grade 3 exam and I am currently working towards my grade 4. I also have an interest in horses as I have owned my own horse for 10 years.
I am hard working, conscientious, loyal and trust worthy. I am a good time keeper and have a good attendance record at university, college and school.
